Small on purpose,
serious about the craft.
Black Deer Travel is a young company built by people who spent years inside large travel brands before deciding to do things differently — with the human hand, the honest opinion, and trips that actually reflect the people taking them.
We have no office. We are where we travel: the business runs from laptops and phones in train seats, hotel lobbies and the occasional vineyard, so the hotel we recommend is often one we stayed in last month. AI does a lot of our legwork (research, logistics, first drafts), which is how a team this small answers fast. We are a small bunch, by choice. (Yes, we could hire more people. No.) Every trip we quote is designed and checked by someone you can speak to directly, and every booking is supported by a real person on the ground — not a call centre pushing requests through a spreadsheet.
What we lack in years on the calendar, we make up for in expertise, fussy attention to detail, and a genuine love for what we do. Our guests stay because they want to travel better, not bigger. We couldn't agree more, and we'd like to keep it that way.
